Natural Easter Egg Dye | How To Dye Eggs With Beets

Natural Easter Egg Dye

Dying Easter eggs with natural ingredients is an eco-friendly option that gives gorgeous results.

After you use natural egg dyes, you are going to want to explore all the natural Easter egg dyes you can create from herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables everywhere! The Easter eggs always come out gorgeous, and you can always add embellishments to the afterwards as well, like we did in our natural egg dye for Easter, featuring beets.

How do you dye eggs with beet juice?

Eggs can be dyed with beet juice by boiling 4 cut up beets in 5 cups of water, straining the beets from dyed water and then adding some white vinegar once cooled. Pour the natural dyed beet water over 6 hard boiled eggs, and let them sit for 20 minutes. There you have beet-dyed Easter eggs!

Here is our video tutorial on naturally dying Easter eggs with beet juice. They came out beautifully, and we drew cute roses on them to decorate them.
