Welcome!

A Warm Welcome

Hi there, a warm welcome. Allow us to introduce ourselves, we are the sister team behind DIY Craft Club

DIY Craft Club is a beautiful, creative place in our hearts that we are warmly opening up to you. Before our website even existed, we would get together and just explode with ideas of projects we wanted to do and thought, it's time to bring these ideas to life and share them! And so, DIY Craft Club was born.

It was just meant to be.

Now all our happy ideas and creativity have an outlet that we get to share with you, in our quest to spark creativity and invoke your imagination through the joy of DIY. We are so happy you are here, and we hope you stick around a while and see what we are up to today.

Meet Shawna

Shawna is the Creative Director at DIY Craft Club.

Shawna is a professional graphic designer and has been in the crafts industry for over 20 years. Her eye for design has landed her partnerships with some of the world's largest companies.

I've always loved crafts. As a kid, I would spend hours at the kitchen table working on some project or another.

Even now, as an adult, I still enjoy crafts and making things from scratch. It's a great way to relax and unplug from the world. And it's also a great way to express my creative side.

Whether I'm painting a picture or making a jewelry piece, crafts are always enjoyable for me.

Here's a video of one of my favorite mediums to work with.

Meet Linnea

Linnea is the Content & Digital Marketing Director at DIY Craft Club.

Linnea is a mom to two littles and was an Elementary teacher who taught and lived for many years in Canada’s sub-arctic. While up north, she learned traditional arts and crafts as well as photography (specifically, photographing the northern lights) and started her own art printing business. Now, she is excited to bring her creativity and ideas online with the DIY audience.

Linnea is also a published creative writer and enjoys acrylic painting. She is passionate about gardening and cooking everything she can from scratch (especially sourdough bread!) and loves coming up with and testing new recipes for her and her family.

The kitchen is our family gathering place. Making fresh food from scratch is one of the things my husband and I always cherish doing with our children. My recipe book is full of those passed-down recipes that I can't wait to teach my kids one day. I share many of those special memories on our blog and think of the recipe section as a place my family can always find those delicious favorites.

Below is a pin from a video we took while my uncle and I were making homemade meatballs last year. It's ok to get messy with recipes to make those memories!

Thanks so much for joining us. Feel free to browse the website, check out some new crafts or recipes, and grab your free printables! We're so happy you're here with us. Let's get creative!
