If you want your hot cocoa to be really creamy, I would suggest using a higher fat percentage of milk.
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp real vanilla
50 grams of semi-sweet milk chocolate
1 tsp organic maple syrup
pinch of sea salt
Rim the glass with honey and then dip into cocoa powder
Combine all ingredients (milk, real vanilla, milk chocolate, maple syrup, and salt) into a saucepan and cook on low heat until everything is mixed and dissolved.
Do not let it boil but a small (barely) simmer is what you are going for here. Transfer it to a bowl with a pouring spout so that it's easy to pour into each individual cup.
