Let's talk about including a thank you note with your orders. Sometimes we get busy learning about new ways on how to grow our businesses that we forget about simple basics. So our first marketing tip simply starts with thank you.
When a customer orders your product and they hold a note that says thank you, it makes them feel special. Those are the feelings you want your customers to have every time they visit you. And you should be thankful. The fact that someone spent their hard earned money with you should make you extremely thankful!
Try to hand write a note whenever possible. Obviously if you are sending out hundreds of orders a week you may not be able to hand write a thank you note for every single order so you might want to have a tier system. Hand write notes to your best customers or for orders over a certain dollar amount. Add a stamped or printed thank you note for all other orders.
The important thing here is that you actually include something that says the words thank you. The nice thing is that you can do this right away with your very next order! Just be sure that the note matches the personality of your brand and you are good to go.
The above picture shows a simple thank you design that we created from our own coffee stained paper and a cute thank you stamp. You can make a ton of these in no time at all to keep on hand. This really shows an extra special touch. These small notes are perfect for tucking into a box or you can glue, tie or tape it directly to the outer packaging on your product. Don't forget to stamp thank you notes with your logo too for a professional look.

These were made with extra bits of scrapbooking paper that we had in our scrap box and washi tape. Look how great they turned out and these made with just scraps! It's a good idea to try to use what you have on hand to help save money for your business. Every penny you save can be invested into extra marketing to help keep those orders rolling in. Be creative just like your business!
